Terry Hopkins – Port of the Isles, Naples
Project Details
| Location | Port of the Isles, Naples, FL |
| Client | Terry Hopkins |
| Setup | Modular drive-on boat port with telescoping poles |
| Purpose | Non-permanent docking for shared marina slip |
Project Summary
Terry needed a reliable docking solution for his 21 ft Sea Pro at a shared neighborhood marina in Port of the Isles, Naples. He doesn't own the slip, can't install a permanent structure, has no electrical service, and needed a hurricane-safe solution while away seasonally.
The Challenge
The project required a non-permanent, HOA-compliant system that could function without electricity, fit within a shared marina slip, and remain secure during hurricane season while the homeowner is away.
Our Solution
A modular drive-on system was installed using telescoping galvanized pipes that allow the entire structure to rise and fall with tide and surge. The system remains stable while accommodating up to 13 ft of vertical movement, eliminating stress during changing water conditions.
